About The Hoodland Women's Club

Empowering Each Other to Achieve a Better Community

The Hoodland Women’s Club was founded in 1963 as a service club. The club focused on service to the Hoodland community after the effects of the timber layoffs, and in 2004 received a 501(c)(3) designation. Our goal is to help the community we live in, and promote the purpose of the club through planning and responding to community service activities.

Our Mission

“Helping the whole community, by providing assistance to members and families of the Hoodland community, through community benefit projects and fundraising events.”

Our Vision

“Women with vision, empowering each other to achieve a better community.”

About Us

HWC has become the organization that ties a vast geographic area together and is often the first-place families, schools, and other organizations look to for information, support and assistance. We are here as volunteers to accelerate active interest in the communities around us, to promote and help develop community relations, and to inspire members in sharing their talents and skills for the betterment of the club.
